| I believe strongly that the best art is found in everyday life, and this is typically what I'm looking for when my camera and I are on the prowl. People are my favorite subjects, but I often foray into nature shots, and I enjoy experimenting with lighting. When looking at photography I'm curious to know if the work is edited or posed, so I think it's only fair to explain their use in my own photos. No persons pictured were posed unless specifically stated in the photo's description. No cropping, lighting changes, or other editing is performed on my photos. Though I'm sure it's obvious, I feel I should note that none of my work is created through aid of a computer, either in part or in whole. I have every respect for those who do this sort of thing (they make some very cool art, after all) it's just not what I do. Though I enjoy photo manipulation, fashion shots, etc., I feel that spontaneous photography is often overshadowed by the popularity of those types of art. This is one of the reasons I choose to focus on a more natural style. Plus, as far as photo manip goes, I don't have the computer talent to do that even if I wanted to. Those guys have serious skill. I'm very much an amateur. I don't know the first thing about photography beside the fact that I enjoy doing it, so feedback is always appreciated. Anything from a full on critique to just a "oh, nice" or "gross what the hell is that" works for me. |

If you ask me if I believe in God,
forgive me if I answer,
Does God believe in me?
